hi there...
i want to study the anatomy of the female body and i'm looking for a website that has photographs of models in different poses. If anyone has anything in mind at all i would be grateful. I've looked at the links of the sticky but i couldn't find anything relevant
Thanks |

How often have I heard that one ...
CA.org has a thread The Nude Reference Thread(18+)
Some of the links are dying ... but there are still many good ones. _________________ http://www.conceptworld.org |

IT'S SUMMER!
GO TO THE BEACH!!!
String bikinis don't cover much.
There's plenty of form left to draw.
And if you're anywhere near good at it,
the girls will love it. A lot of girls don't like
people who cruise the beach and take pictures,
but they never seem to mind an artist.
You'll have plenty of interest in your
work... whooo hooo!
(It's much better than drawing from photographs.) |

You were "expecting an answer like THAT"... What the hell does THAT mean?
I DID take you "seriously".
Drawing from life is always better than using photographs. It is a good, practical solution if you don't have access to figure drawing classes.
If you make such a request on an artist's forum, how would I know you can't draw and only take photos because your just an IT!
Which begs the question: If you don't do art, why are you looking for models. Are you looking for public domain nude photos you can use in a website? Are you doing a website for people who DO modeling work? Are you doing a website for a pornographer?
Why don't you supply more information before you tell people who are only trying to answer you request that they're not being "serious". |

Jesus..take it easy ...
if you take a look at the "work on progress" section of the forums you will see why i want a reference picture.
I do not consider myselft an artist. Every now and then i'm drawing when i have time , that doesn't make me an artist.
Anyway ..i welcome myself to the forums, and i wish me a pleasant stay. I'm hoping that this community has more mature members than yourself.
p.s. Static pictures sometimes are better than asking strangers to pose for you.
cheers |

Women love attention, they just tend to acclimate better when you're not pouring it on. Since you're near the beach, just go and draw the females that abound in their bikinis. Since it's Greece, I'm sure you wo't be the only guy drawing the females.
If you want to not irk people, draw females who're in groups chilling and sitting around doing stuff, rather then single women. They're more secure in their numbers, and it'll be easier for you to explain that you're drawing them as life drawing practice blah, blah, blah. If they ask you anything more then that, just pour on a little charm keep drawing, and bam, you've made a new aquaintance.
but if you insist on using web reference and info, here's some stuff:
