Its been FOUR months since you last posted here. So yeah, happy anniversary Dhabih! horray! How are things? Still busy and such?

And isnt it time you make more mods and such to help out Sumaleth and Freddio?

lets not get too critical here. hes given this place for us to communcate-for free, so lets not take it for granted.

Don't confuse things here..

Dhabih didn't give us this place. He gave us a server. The people made this place.

He doesn't contribute, he doesn't moderate, and frankly I'm pretty sure he couldn't care less what the situation is around here. Just because he setup a forum 3 years ago doesn't mean he should be praised today. Especially when he has ignored the place for the majority of that time.

I think Sumaleth and Freddio have done a good job of reigning back the tide of stupidity, thankless job that it is. Considering there are almost 7000 members, the hijinks are relatively minor. A few more mods might be helpful when things flare up though.

I think Sumaleth and Freddio have been doing great. They have noticably been more alert and discriminating than the older standard. I see flame threads get shut down usually within 24 hours, wrong forum postings immediately moved, and questions to MODS answered in a reasonable amount of time. For TWO people that patrol a forum of almost 7,000 memebers, they deserve a friggin' medal.

We could use one or two more MODS though-- It'll lighten the work load on them. I mean, they are not PAID to do this, and they have their own lives.

BTW, Sumaleth/Freddio, does Dhabih answer your emails? What if you asked him to grant you two the power to select new MODS to help you out? I know this forum can't kick/ban people, but we can at least snip the troll's threads immediately with more MODS.

I hope no one took what I said as a criticism of Freddio and Suma. That was definitely not the point I was trying to make. I totally agree that Suma and Freddio have been doing an awesome job. My point was to prove that Dhabih certainly doesn't deserve the credit the some people afford him. Suma and Freddio deserve a helluva lot more praise than Dhab for keeping this place above water.

I don't even regard Dhabih as a real person. In my mind he is just some myth that once existed but disappeared to the dark side long ago. :P

After seeing some of Valve's upcoming title at GDC, I can see how the Valve team is very busy at work. To those who work there, 'bravo'!
