Hi all,

I'm currently trying to work digitally on concept sketchs for a set, using Photoshop. It's mainly to give informations on color and lighting ...

I would like to push realism more on this, but I'm blocked in rendering and I do not know very well how to be further. If someone could give me advices on this, it would help me ... but of curse all comments/critics are welcome Wink Thanks.

I like it man..
I think it needs more highlight sheens and the perspective is slightly off...But I love the atmosphere of it-really nice job:)
Love to see a blue version..

If you're going for realism,I think its too saturated. Try toning down the saturation(especially in the shadows)

I love the colors, and the way the lamps glow. Interesting subject content. Makes me wonder what's going on there. It's like a picture that tells a story. I like those.
So many artists will do a dragon, or say a faery and that's all it is? I like when an artist communicates this way.

try to keep the architecture intact, work with the planes you've got in there. Identify your light sources and work from there.

Henrik, Shocked the way in which that changes the image and adds realism is extraordinary, aaaargh, that kills me Sad Thanks, this piece teaches me more than you cannot imagine! ...

I'm going to post another version soon, focusing more on lighting and colors ... (I just have to resist temptation to throw my Wacom in the basket Wink)

I also found your website inspiring, your "about" section too ...

Wow, that fully reminds me of The Adventures of Tintin from the book "The Blue Lotus". If not is from the book. I like it, looks good Madmartigan.
