I have just tried to draw in photoshop with my tablet. And for the first time it's started to jitter when I move it across the screen.
I don't know whether it's the nib of it or not, it seems perfectly fine.
Anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong with it?
T'is quite annoying ![Mad](images/smiles/icon_mad.gif) |

I think I've sorted it. Was because of the amount of layers used I think.

If read trough the FAQ that came with your wacom manual you would find that the problem most likely is the hertz of your monitor, crank it up to the max and you'll see it'll be better... Hope this helps... _________________ Really intrested... |

Ooooo, never knew that. It shouldn't be a problem though, my monitor is around a foot away
Thanks for commenting though, Tom.
P.S. I'm still yet to try changing the hertz of my monitor, not done much drawing lately ![Rolling Eyes](images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif) |

Ah right, I'll have to take a look. There doesn't seem to be anything electrical near it though.
Have to take a look at the Hertz of my monitor...
EDIT:
I just tried it then, and when I change it from like 60 to 70+ it makes my screen go out
Anyone know why this could be? |

Can anybody also help me with a little problem? It seems as if when I have to draw short lines , without zooming in. It kind of spikes a bit. |

Your monitor may not be capable of going higher than 60 at the resolution you're using. Mine will only go to 65 Hz at 1600x1200, but can do 90 Hz at 1024x768. _________________ brian.prince|light.comp.paint |

Ah right, that must be it then. I am currently running at 1152x864. I'll have to change it when I draw.
Thanks mate
I just changed it, changed the hertz, was lookign up. But it still jerks. Something must be wrong with the tablet ![Sad](images/smiles/icon_sad.gif) |

rec|use This may seem out of the ordinary, but do you by chance have your Computer Tower on your desk along with your drawing tablet? Because this is how I have mine and the case produces a mild rumble due to case fans. This vibration can cause your hand and tablet to "jiggle" ever so slightly.
J. Cheung These "spikes" or jagged lines you're refering to could be caused by the Zoom percentage you are working at. If you are zoomed out to an odd ratio, say 33.3%, photoshop isn't able to give you all the detail you're expecting. Try and zoom into a more even ratio. Usually it's just every other zoom that is an odd ratio (If using default zoom clicking). |

That's what my desktop looks like, there doesn't seem to be anything close enough to interfere with the tablet to me
(Sorry about the image quality, I took it with the webcam instead of the digital camera) |
