I call this Jack my catman so give me some feedback please it's my first good Photoshop image

You need to work on shadows, try doing some paintings from life. and please, if not for yourself, then for the sake of photoshop, stay away from the blur and soften tools. Very Happy

A big problem is that it is way too blurry, try using harder brushes.

I've found that I get a lot better if I try to draw something I can see(like the paintings of random computer desk objects I have scattered around the forums).

Practice makes perfect, just keep drawing and you will get better.

try to draw a picture of a catman while looking at a picture of real cat, this will help get the proportions and the pose right.

If that's your first one, way to go. You're gonna be good. Specifically, I like rich colors and this partcular one has almost a pastel looking feel to it. Keep at it!

This is my second picture on photoshop so i do like it and i blured it on accident and i couldnt change it(big story) but i make the brushes is hard as i can i dont like them soft or air brush like. Im just getting used to drawing on the comp. im really great with pencil and paper.

Ill try to get some of my sketches scanned until then this is what I got.
