I would highly recommend taking a trip to your local library, and starting from there. |

Few tips before digging your way though those 300 books:
1. Find watercolour paper, preferably one of those pads with the paper stretched and glued (so it doesn't curl or whatever from the water).
2. Make a sketch, and maybe also a coloursketch (on a seperate paper), so you know what you're about to to. Rule of thumb IRL-medium is that Ctrl-Z isn't.
3. Remember that watercolours are pretty transparent. Therefor in can be wise to start of light and add darker colour as you go along, saving the light areas as you can't add those later. (Unless you take another medium afterwards, say gouache, and add white. But you probably won't, so save the whites and start of light.)
4. If you have no patience, use a blowdryer to dry the colour to lessen the wait.
5. For the love of god set the dryer to something less than max or it will blow the paint all over that paper.
6. It might be good to do a basic colour graph-setup of every colour mixing possible with the colours you have, to ease finding the colour you're looking for. But I don't have a decent image to show you how it's done, so you'll have to figure that one out on your own.
