thanks guys, good stuff you fiends.
maybe there should be a comic thread to keep it together.
henrik, spooge - super nice.
Francis - how's them acrylics suiting ya? looking good.
fluo - nice hands, especially like the thumb
burnout - nice clouds
HaRdC0rePixxX - sickness
RasselTassel - cool stuff.
Railk - very nice.
Capt. Fred - dude, that's a funny one, coffee shop... like that pillow study too.
dhood - skull's looking good, you painted that with a mouse? you're crazy. the difference in temperature is very nice, especially in the eye sockets. now you just gotta fix the bottom of the skull and its portfolio stuff. you might wanna get rid of the drawing by the brow ridge...
a dark elf for a friend... I guess he's not that dark, heh.

Great work around here!
And nice batman-story
btw, im searching for a special picture i've seen some time ago around here.
I have in mind it was a mattepainting done by Mullins about final fantasy(i think so, not sure) - but i'm searching for a special one, a close up, where you can see two Jedi fighting each other in one of those sykscraper-windows as a secret joke.
Im not able to find this anywhere ... so if someone still have this one saved, it would be nice if he can mail it to me ([email protected]).
Thx.

Would it be terribly wrong if I asked someone to over paint this? It's a shuttle/craft coming at you tilted clockwise from itself. I don't know how to make it more detailed...

Neat Hellboy!
and Mazz, I dig that painting.
Hsu, acrylics kicking my ass hard right now. As you can see, I am still way in the ugly part of the learning curve.
I tried that art rage program tonight. I like it a lot better than Painter, but not as much as Photoshop, or even acrylic paint believe it or not...

Ok, i remember spooge doing a a.streeton copy aawhile back in this thread. but i just looked up his name today and was really amazed, that guy's work is fantastic.
so i did a really quick and sloppy study, i think i whipped through it too fast to learn much. but i love that guys color and value.
edit: oops forgot to say thanks guys!

I just went outside with my bike, sat down at Alexanderplatz (berlin) and painted this from life with the notebook on my lap and my old graphire next to me. Ill do this more often now since its quite fun and a good practice too.
