Whew... finally finished the LuckyLou children's picture book adventure. Here's the finished layout board, which is not possible to read. To see it in readable form for review and comment, CLICK HERE.

Still have some touch ups to make, but it's pretty much done...

Looks really good Phil. If you don't find someone to publish this book, I'll eat my tablet. It's as good as, if not better than most of the children's stuff I see out there. Of course, I'm basing this comment on it's artistic merit. Because as we all know, the story is a major factor in children's books. "The Giving Tree" is a perfect example of this. The story is one all children should know, but the illustrations leave a lot to be desired.

Kind of a double edged sword when you think about it... Anyway, I think the story is easy to read and it's a cute one. So hopefully you'll get folks to love this book for both it's art and it's story.

Enough blabbing... Looks good. Smile

It's great! Cute story and wonderful artwork. I hope you find a publisher. By the way, on page 6 the Zipper says, "I think I wuz very zpezific, but if you don't go zat way, then go anyway you want." Shouldn't he say, "..if you don't go zat way, zen go anyway you want." Just to keep with his accent. Smile

Thanks for the comments... As jr. wrote, "now shop that bitch" so I am going to do... My agent has been unable to get any publisher interested, so now I'm gonna "shop it." If I can't find a publisher, than I'm going to look for some financing to self publish.
