Feels a bit like working with animation though and u always wanna put the story closer together but I better leave some gaps otherwise it would be like a billion pages.

And I'm too late with it. Matthew you really should paint slower Smile

Wow you guys are fast - great comic strip happening there.

fluO - that's a huge bit of 'pushing' - amazing quality to the light. Love your technique for the ground & grass.

Well I made time today and worked up this image.

There's a character missing - but I've really got to get some real work done. A bit like spot the ball - she's just there in the right foreground... I can just about see her...

Haven't been to the forum for years, so it's nice to see that there's still a lot of activity going on in here! I've looked through some of the speedpainting thread, and some of the stuff is just mind blowing. Artists like Henrik and Spooge have really caught my attention, and I envy them both of their talent and their motivation. There are other artists I would like to mention also, but I don't remember their names, and this thread has too many pages for me to consider searching for them. Laughing

Personally I haven't painted since 2001, so I have no clue on how you guys paint the way you do. But as they say: you gotta paint to post.

freebooter that rocks
rorsh, thanks

matthew haha :) Check ur PMs

I reckon you should do what I did on that rooftop one from time to time. Just scribble in a little extra detail, becuase once you've got all the main shapes and values there's not even much thinking left to do. You could just skip from painting with the fatass brush to doing detail with a skinny brush just to give people a little more to look at and include a little more info about your concepts and ideas. Just a thought :)

darklord: those are incredible, love 'em.

Capt.Fred: I just thought it was one from Matthew at first. Colors and light matched so well. I didn't realize that it was an overpaint of an older one from Matthew.
And, funny the last ones from you. Wink

Wow. Weather just changed here in Berlin very rapidly. First sunshine all day long, very warm outside and now its suddenly raining and lightning strikes evey few seconds...

Matthew: haha... great comic.

I remember a while ago someone had problems with the color intensity changing after saving for web in photoshop. I am having the same problem, well this has been going on for a while, but It was just today after comparing pictures that I found that the color had been dulled down after saving in photoshop.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Anyway to fix it.
