anyway, was inspired by hokusai and hiroshiga as well as a samurai book I was looking at while shopping in the book store.
I'll be away from here for a week (sniff) but I can't wait to get back and see this threads progression! Probably be on page 650 or so... hahaha |

ok I am back again and it is time to get 250% serious, thanks there for all the nice comments some pages back.
from Josef Zrzavy Anatomy, I believe it was some picture from an michaelangelo sculpture so yea ref used, I tried to exaggerate what was there in the hand with a quick study.

I remember when Capt.Flush posted that eye way back and I always wanted to do one aswell but couldn't really do it at that time, I guess I couldn't this time either.
