| College is finnally over and i got around a month to kill. Just thought i'd make this topic to force myself to keep painting. I'll be showing my progression startin from now. Tryin to develop a digital painting style, right now my paintings r very monochromatic, plain, and lifeless. Hoping to change that (a bit) during these holidays. Gonna try to learn some life drawin too. I'll be makin a promise to myself to (under the circumstances) post 1 constructive image everyday. Nywayz, I'm of to get started! Hope this'll really make a diff. |

Took the bristles out of the captured bristle brush in painter 8. Just a sketch, w reference to try out Josh Middleton's (New Mutants) style. Took me round 40 minutes.... long i know, had trouble w' the proportions nd still got them wrong... need to learn some life drawing.

Just playin round with photoshop. Tryin to make it look a bit watercoloryish. Just a quick one (really messed up the hands though)... better get started on life drawing

Try blending that low opacity more, there is too many circles.
