Chris: Sorry for replying that late, but I was really busy with two school projects these last couple of days and didn't get a lot of sleep.

But, thanks a lot for an insight into your approach to your paintings from ref! I really appreciate that you took the time.

You are taking the whole materia very seriously as it seems ,which is a good thing I guess: One can really see the progress in your pictures.
And I think it's interesting that you interpreted my question in the way you did. You seem to put a lot of focus on custom brushes and techinques in general. I never thought about painting like that. This gives me something to think about. I will try and figure some of the things you said out for myself in the next few days.
Thanks again for the help!

stephan: Your welcome, I'm glad I could help.
This was very difficult. The model in the reference picture I used is much more beautiful then the one in my picture. I plan on doing a lot more of these to go along with my daily figure studies.

sparth: wow I really like that one. ( saves to HD )

Program used : photoshop 7
Time it took : 2 hours
Reference picture used? Yes, sorry I don't know where I got it from.

viag: your style is so cool. I almost want to steal it.

This is todays speed painting. Took me nearly 3 hours. The colors were so hard to get down. There are so many different shades of red and orange in the reference picture it was hard to figure out just what colors they were. So thats why it took so long. The only brush I used was photoshops hard round brush.

You can download a wallpaper pack here that includes sizes 1280 x 1024 and 1600 x 1280

A wannabe Orc

This one has some problems with the perspective and antomy, but i got fed up with it :)

It is kinda inspired by the project we (Marco Wilz, Goro Fujita, Felix Graf, Ole Bukowsky and myself) are currently working on:
http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=147119

Sorry for the little cross-promotion :P
