Okay, with the recent barrage of kickass games being released lately I can honestly say that the true gem of them all is Freedom Force. This game is sooooo addictive and fun. Basically, you're a team of superheroes fighting villains throughout the city. The environments are completely interactive. There ain't nothin better than throwing a park bench at an innocent old lady. Check out this screen:
Yummy. |

Again, where is the bench that is supposedly lodged firmly into an old lady?
In early developement their was talk about multiplayer and being villians... Can you be a super-villian in the game? |

I don't think I said this was a picture of a bench being lodged into an old lady, did I? I said you're capable of it in the game.
And yes, you can. |

You can't play as an evil person in the game, everyone is a happy nice superhero. |

Looks like a fullbright mess to me.
And what's the deal with all these video games? I haven't paid attention for the last year and half. What's this I hear about Quake 4? And what happened to Doom 3?
Somebody fill me in. |

The graphics aren't anything revolutionary, and that screenshot was from the demo.
However, the game is *F*U*N*! Novel idea, eh? A game that doesn't just look pretty?
I like it. However, I've moved on to my new obsession that will likely last months.
TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER 3 for PC!
If you've ever played it on any of the nextgen consoles, you'll understand where I'm coming from. And now that it has been released for the PC, I can feed my addiction with my tool of choice. |
