I see many little things that are off with it. Perhaps all of that changed would make it look more like her. I'll just list off the things I see. Right eye, bottom left part of the nose should be a little higher than the tip, both eyebrows, the hairline is off (not that that matters too much), the overall nose shape is off a bit. Like I said, alot of little things. Good overall shape I think. My advice would be to go back and really look at each individual feature and draw it like it is. Look at the shape of it and how it is in relation to other parts of the face. That should help. Good luck! |

Yeah, I really think it does. But you still need more dramatic changes to the problems areas. I see that the nose needs to extend out furthur to the left, and that part still needs to come up a tad. Look at the reference. Also, the eyebrows are still off. Your probably still working on it. you've probably heard this one before, but take the whole picture and flip it on its y axis (horizontally). Do the same with the reference. It'll give you a fresh look at it. Or even turn it on its head. Just to get the details right. Look at them as shapes instead of eyebrows or noses. Keep going! |

one big thing i noticed is the eyes look a little high/not part of the face... i have that problem too doing portraits! did u measure the features' proportions first? also, perhaps if you haven't already try laying her photo on a translucent layer above the drawing.. it doesn't have to match perfectly but it'll help see the large differences.
