This was going to be another Sauron pic, but I couldn't resist putting the daft, gurning mask on the helmet.
I kept the One Ring on his finger though.
About 5 hours in Photoshop. No ref used.

Nice armour design
You've really succeded with making the cloth transparent.
And I think your colour sense has improved.
Dunno if the legs are a bit to thin...but thats just me trying to find faults.
Now get your ass back in the speedpainting thread!

Actually, Pringle, the cloak is translucent, not transparent. Only light comes through, and you can't actually distinguish objects on the other side. The More You Know  
This knight is badass. He looks like some maniacal version of Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas. |

As for the skinny thing, someone's gotta fight for the rights of dashing, debonaire beanpoles like me. I imagined him to be the hero of some perverse fertility godess, HEY WAKE UP!!! He's barefoot, to better channel her energy through his body.
He's my champion!
I'm taking a break from the old speedpainting. Just for a bit, I hope. I'd like to concentrate on doing some less hurried pieces.

Good thing. I always like your work on the speedy-thread but I agree it's a good thing to work a little longer on some paintings now and then, keeps you fresh.
I really like the color palette in this one. The light filtering through his right arm is a very nice detail.
If I was forced to give some kind of critism on this painting it would be that the pose looks a bit static, probable caused by his back being so straight.
Anyway, good work.
