This is a piece that i did as concept art for an independant film. The director asked me to design a villian that would be possible within a specific budget, thus ruling out anything that would require prosthetics and such. So, rather than go for a literal demon, I opted to design a character that would have come from an asylum or something, all covered in tattoos. I feel that I'm well on the way, however, I'd like to know if I should add more tattoos or would that be too much? (by the way, the tattoo spanning his back is a pair of bone wings that stretch from his nick all the way down his spine)
