Here is a few quick ones from a daily warm-up exercise I've been doing. I have a daily Star Wars calendar with a different photo each day--so at the end of the year I should have 365 new skteches and hopefully will have improved from the first one.
Here is a few I decided to digitally paint and post.
I've picked up a lot of techniques from this site--probably one of the biggest is using different opacity brushes in photoshop to paint---

BTW, great drawings. Looks fully pro. You working for anyone, you look as though you could easily get a job wiht concept art.

Thanks The Real Mark and Kwiix.
I work as an illustrator for an advertising company, so this became a nice exuse for a morning warm-up.....But I'd like to get into concept art for video games or film.
If nothing else--I'll have a lot of star wars drawings.
I'll be posting more of them on my website.
Here is one more:

Very cool indeed!!
You kinda motivate me to do something similar.
What is this daily Star Wars calendar called exactly?
Or where did you get it. Is it from Episode I or II...or the old ones?
Really great stuff, especially the first one!

Thanks Max Kulich. The calendar is called: Star Wars Characters, Creatures and Droids the Cedco Daily 2004 Calendar....it spans all of the episodes...which is another cool thing...since it has to fill 365 days...everyday ther'es practice jumping around different character types..from the Cantina Bar Creatures in Star Wars to Clone Troopers . Just a fun exercise I started doing in January mostly to see where I'll be in December or if I've improved.

I like all of them.. are you usually satisfied with your marker sketches before you move them onto digital painting?
What are the dimensions of your marker drawings, like the last one, I see the shape of the marker's tip, looks like prismacolor design.. which part of the tip are you using?

tow-na:
I'm usually satisfied with the marker sketch before I digitally paint it, knowing it will more than likely change in some way and evolve.
The Original markers are done on 8 1/2 x 11 sheets, and I'm really enjoying the look of the PrismaColor Cool Grey Markers--mostly using the largest end and then for the outlines using a thin Sharpie---still haven't found a black inking marker that I like.

Anthony J--thanks. Cool website
