I thought this would be a good idea for a thread. Post any sketches or final pieces of character designs. The only rule is that it is a character of your own invention, so no drawings of Link or anything like that. Any and all subjects are welcome.

Here is one I did a while back, I don't really do this kind of thing much so its not that great but it was fun.

I call him Camp David...

...his war-cry is "Tremble before my velour-clad rage!"

Hi all, I'm new to Sijun and liked the idea of this thread so here goes.

Plumb lunatic "Camp David" is mint. Reminds me of "The Tick"

Here's a few favourites I've designed.

These are all concept art for my upcoming animation entitled "Hard Living Intertwingled with Cristyile Sipping."

here is another concept illustration for one of the scenes;

In this scene, Young Half-Wire stops by for a moment to reminisce as he hears his friend Cubenzi play that now popular toon, "I like the Way You Move." It automatically catalyzes a nostalgia for his queen. This Queen of his had the innate ability to simultaneously say the same thing with her eyes as her mouth. Young Half-Wire realizes that if he doesn't snap out of this state of painful revelry, the tune will change to Tony Braxton's, "I'll Never Breathe Again" and he will sufficate. It should also be mentioned that Young Javie equates his lost woman with the "un-speakable," so naturally this nostalgic moment causes him to fiend...

here is some other characters:

Popeye, your turtle-man is outstanding! I'd love to see it put to use somewhere. Also, MacJ, your snailguy is really cool, how about some color on him? Very inspiring stuff gentlemen.

popeye: great stuff!

macj, i really like your shading-style, and i think i would like it even more if you leave the lightside of your figures white, with no grey-making strokes... Smile

This is the baby snatcher. He basicly steals children and takes them to the underworld for a living. Typically, the children are then eaten.
