didn't turn out that great...
i dislike my lips --- and it sux when you have to spend the longest time working on the area you dislike---
they didn't turn out right anyways... a lot is off in this one hehe
summer pudding: you're doing wonderful for not having done portraits for so long.

here's mine!
there is always a lot of ambient lighting around my desk  so the side of my face that isnt in the direct light always ends up looking flat. but his is easily my quickest/best one to date

Photoshop CS turned me into a McKean fanboy (again!)
I wish I knew how make cool layouts and incorporating text into my pieces... Tried it with this one but now I'm too damn hungry to exeriment any more. It's one o'clock and still no lunch dammit!

mon... interpretation is in the eye of the beholder, but the creator in this case was doing a picture of himself peering into the womb at the sperm races - getting to the egg. The scribbled text at picture top reads, "some are direct - some are just plain crazies." 
Like your portrait... it has a similarity...

Painting in this position makes my arm hurt. I don�t know how traditional painters do it ... perhaps I have to workout a bit.
