Mon: you got that Dali thing goin' on.
Spooge: every pic is a lesson...and about your picture being on designstudiopress advertisements...
there's no links or anything for you to check it...but, it's your "flags" picture at the end of one of the Ryan Church videos, accompanied by some other artists' work.
Matthew: That helmet is attractive.
Nothin new here. I think I'm practicing visual development, story-
boarding, but with an overly used theme. Nonetheless, my camera angles.
yick...this leg...
and some speedy bullshit for good measure...
goodnight. |

Matthew> thanks
Everyone, lots of inspirational stuff, keep up!
Hmm, I tried Artrage for the first time, seems like a pretty authentic emulation of oils since this pic came out as poor as my latest real paintings..
I had a Dracula soundtrack cd cover on my table

Some inspiring stuff here!
spooge demon : Love it. Beautiful.
I wanted to paint something with waterfalls in a green setting... spent 50 mins on it. All photoshop and custom brushes.

thx guys.
spooge, that floor is magic.
Joachim, thanks for the kind words in your thread.
I have a lot of time on my hands yes, this perspective I am not so sure of but I think me achieved a bit realism but that could be me fooling myself though.

referenced/used a mouse. trying to take spooge's advice he gave as a response to someone earlier about using larger brushes...
and trying to simplify and block things out... just get the overall feel of the picture and the colors.
well i'm PRETTY new to actually doing speed paintings... heck i'm pretty new to really much with digital painting too --- i have lots to learn.
you guys are really an inspiration.
any suggestions and such would be awesome.
matthew: i loved your piece on the other page... i think it was 2 paintings before this one you just posted. absolutely loved it.
EDIT: i think it's a BIT too unsaturated... heh. _________________ ~a shadow, a moment, a memory-- a monument, a legend, a legacy~ |

Too many fantastic images to mention here.
Pringle, dougbot, spooge, thedarklord, ax--hv and many others, thanks for the inspiration.
dougbot: that environment is rather fine. I thought it was MC Barrett at first glance.

spooge, I think that (like the gladiator some time back) you were going for something other than perfect anatomy. it's great. the light is really great. although I cant tell what's going on with the right leg.
pud, cool.
this makes me think of what i did in high school.
