The first one was another try at mixing acryllics and photoshop. Didn't go anywhere this time, but I thought I'd post it all the same:
uh.. poor scan too.
This next one I did this morning. Obviously (?) from ref, the original is here if you feel like taking a peek. There's something stiff about it (my painting, not the girl!) but I still like to believe I added something to it.

Awesome Mon!
Especially the second pic - I'd have to say other than the incredible textures in the painting, your eyes here are much more soft than the original pic... Like it!!! _________________

Wow that's so amazingly sick. In a good way
The texture is so awesome, I recall you did another one quite some time ago that looked like this one. |

Hey Mon, guess I haven't been posting anything because I haven't really had anything to post. I've been so busy with work the last few months, that doing any personal projects has become really difficult. I have been working on a couple personal things here and there, but they're all in their middle or beginning stages.
I have a commission that I finished a few months ago, that I was thinking about putting up here. I put it up at CA about a month ago and I didn't feel like spaming all the boards I go to with it. Perhaps I'll put that up later today...
As far as your chick goes, even though her pose is really static, I think she generates a lot more life than most of the old pin-up stuff I used to do ever did. There's lots of life in that brush work and I think it really shows. My pin-up work hit it's peak with "Insatiable Appetites", after that I kind of lost most of my inspiration for that kind of work. Or maybe I just got a little burnt out on the subject matter. Been wanting to do more fantasy/sci-fi type stuff lately. Which is a subject matter you've always kicked a lot of ass at.
Take em easy,
