Lots of good stuff recently!

Pringle> Thank you!
Wassup> How in hell you come up with those values, unbelievable!

A little collaboration with Freebooter, he did the character - I ruined it.

Mikko K>> Now, don't be so hard on yourself. I couldn't make it work either.

beat>> Awesome. Reminds me of Yoji Shinkawa's, Metal Gear game series' designer's, artwork. He's one of my favs.

Many thanks guys for all the nice comments, u guys are to kind to me. Smile
U know we are gonna have an abstract exhibit in the town nearby and none of me paintings were choosed for it, the teachers dont like my works they are all about the abstract ideas, think I will have to pack my bags to go study in the states. Smile

something to post so I could say thanks, this one was made with kids ink markers, pencil and made all shiny in photoshop muahaha a silly experiment I know.

thanks again everyone

Nice job MikkoK and Freebooter. I see it turned out pretty well. There's a lot of suspence in it and it seems like the gunman has just overheared a radical twist in an evil plot...

my speedies are getting less and less finished. not good, I need more finish, not less. that machine needs some fine lines.

lotss to learn

mon, love the brushwork. Doesn't look like your usual toolset but its wonderful stuff!

axhv, love the tree one, beautiful.

xia, really like the woman in the background of the first one. Very cool studies there. I like the colour palette, less cheesey than what's popular.

excellent work everyone! I really enjoy catching up with this thread.

Thanks for the ref link, pudding!

trying 20 minute oils, not enough time, bad habits. Or I might learn to simplify better. But I still H8 oil paint. It's like a twitchy unstable sports car, so much potential, but you end up a black spot on the pavement most of the time. Well, all the time.

ax--hv: nice mood in your last images.
elliot : I like that gritty batman pic.
freebooter : thanks for pointing that out, it's a coincidence, but it looks like we're often using similar brushes in painter ; I'm not really a custom brush freak...
not exactly new this one
