this is my first real attempt at creating something worthwhile digitally. I've been having some trouble with her extended arm. I wanted it to look forshortened but something doesn't look right to me... little help?

any other comments and critiques are very welcome. Done in SketchBook Pro

ok i'm no anatomy genious so this is probably more opinion or something but from what i can tell. you need to make the arm/hand get larger as it gets nearer to us, likewise with the gun. also she has very pointy breasts... and the hips need to be as wide as the shoulders, they look narrower in my opinion. and maybe a longer waist..... keep drawing without the clothes for now i would suggest. otherwise the pose in general seems quite nice and the hair etc. hope that helps |

ritaku, thanks for the critiques. I changed a few minor things here and there.
here is an update. She's got color, somewhat cleaner lines, a finished gun (not colored yet) and the necessary asl question. I haven't taken the time to do the hair yet. I'm doing that towards the end.
