Hi all. This is my first post on the sijun forums
Heres a one of my latest finished works:
It was inspired by watching the gnomon DVD of ryan churches work. It is also inspired by the style of Craig mullins. I love the 'say more with less' approach he has.

Welcome.
Everybody here loves Mullins style.
I really like this, but it looks not "finished" ... more like a clean speedy.
Would really like to see it "full" finished without those rough parts. _________________ Lars Gtze

Amazing image!
Reminds me of somebody's art. What's the guys name? Not Craig.
The one with the DVDs!? But not Feng Zhu either! ... _________________ http://idrawgirls.deviantart.com |

Looks very Sparthy to me, maybe a little Scott Robertsony too. I love it as it is, I think the rough look works well here, it gives the image a lot of life. Awesome construction, incredible colors, great brushwork. |

Yeah... I did want to work on it more, but it was 2 am on a work night, so I just stopped. It was only meant to be a quickie, but I got carried away... its so hard not to!! I should finish it, but i would rather start another with the lessons I learned doing that one.
Expect more! I wanna improve!
Cheers
K
Oh, Here is another one I did recently: It was a couple of weeks prior to the one above. (should I post as a new thread or continue in this one? whats the standard way of working?)

Beautiful this one too, u should enter the speed-painting thread with this work.
Or u could keep posting in this thread, not sure if it is that popular though with single persons doing sketch-books here in Sijun, for me it is totally ok.
keep up the good work and keep posting.

Wow. The first one's got everything. Great lighting, composition and subject matter. What a debut.
Welcome to Sijun.
