hi people. first of all I thank you all for existing. this is the best space in the whole internet for me. shame I found you recently.
I am a graphic designer using photoshop 6 and corel. For drawing cartoons and stuff Ive used Aura and TVpaint that are predecessors of deluxepaint in amiga. I am used to doing photo retouches and designs but not painting in computer. Especially like you do here.
Ive recently installed painter7 and could do little with it. It surely has nice things nice mediums that simulates real mediums excellent. But for what I had in mind the pattern chalk came close. Picking existing colors, good opacity control and texture.. But I want more of that! more textures! how can I do that. And if some of you could direct me to a painter tutor page that would be swell..
Oh and I wouldn't say no for some custom created brush libraries either. Thanks and have a nice spanking _________________ I wanna be a pirate! |

stick with photoshop. painter is for steers. |

are there any tutorials for painting with photoshop?
