Well Its been a long time since i used photo shop, and an evenr longer time since I last posted here. I decided I should start using photoshop again since I have more time now (Funny how I have no time for art in art school).

I have most of the upper body done, it needs some touch ups though, and I havent even started work on the rest of him yet. I made the background off the computer and scanned it in cause it annoys me to see a solid color in the back while working, dont know if ill keep it though.

Well thats all I got to say for now, I need all teh crits and comments you can give me, because I really want to persue a carear in digital art and need al the advice possible. (sorry for making it a link, but i dont have money yet for hosting)

The coloring is nice, looks a little flat to me but that's a good start. But what the heck is he doing with his left arm ?

Haha E-z, yeah everyone has mad that comment, to the pic, hes holding a second sword. I just wanted to do teh top half for now, so i left the bottom emtpty, but here is an updated pic, with a recolord bg, i colord the rst of teh pic, and slightly edited the rest of it. Im going to worry about depth once i finisht eh main coloring, i just want to get the right texturing and colorng for now, teh ill add more value to it once i get too teh end

Oh ok I see. At first, to be honest with you, I did not recognize that was a sword in front of him. But once completely colorized and we see that's a blade that shoud do it

its a nice pic but the pose is really static .. youll have to do an amazing job on the render. Give it some dynamic lighting.
