heh, sorry i took so long. i moved some of the stuff around in photoshop...
http://www20.brinkster.com/mosspatch/aaaaaaaaaa.jpg
that might not be the address since for some reason the site isn't working
If you can see it though, the red line is a frame division. the top frame stays on all of the pages and only the bottom frame changes, that way all of the links are available to all of the pages.
I think that all of the writing on the top frame can be images.
I'd take the wiggle off of the links, or have a rollover wiggle.
on the bottom frame, take out all other frames. it dosen't do anything that a table can't do, and when the page get's at about 800 pixles wide the scrollbars appear.
http://www.htmlgoodies.com/tutors/master.html is a good site, it is where i learnt most of what i know about html and stuff.
this is my sites new layout, i'm buying the domain and hosting for it next week http://www20.brinkster.com/mosspatch/VM.html i'm changing the name of it though, any suggestions? |

Thanks for the advice .. when I get the time Ill get rid of all the frames and put in a table. First I have to learn how to make a table. Im still very new to making web sites.
I dont know if I like all the buttons on top .. I want to give my site a horizontal feel.Your page definitely has a vertical feel. Looks good. I put the wiggling text in to call attention to that button. You think its too much? _________________ Brendan

yea, it's pretty big anyways, so people will find it quick anyways. I think the wiggling text would look nice as a rollover, the site i gave you has information on that.
yea, i remember on my first site using html i used frames to position things, since all i knew was <P> <BR> <IMG> <A> and maybe a few others.
your site isn't looking bad, keep up the good work. It dosen't take a long time to learn html and stuff, i've been using it for almost a year now and i can make almost whatever kind of site i want to. |
