hi again,
Ive posted a while ago just the head of my sketch, now Ive finished it...the background is not a big deal on that image. that character is a try for my search for a comic character or a video game or whatever it will be  hope you like it.
the original is waaaay larger..so some details are gone on this one..anyway.
(wacom + painter7 - no scanned sketch used, in case u wanna know)

but it somehow lacks a character to be a comic character. expression reminds me of cowboy bebop.

I like the linework. Sort of borders on Paul Pope. I sort of feel the same as Horacegoesskiing about him though. I think it's the hair. This dude seems like he'd have cooler hair. And a cigarette, because, lets face it, no matter how bad smoking is for you, it DOES make people look cooler.
The thing I think I like most about this though is the big ears. Everyone (well... excpect Paul Pope and Frank Quietly) in comics always tries to draw these perfect looking guys. Perfect nose, perfect ears, perfect lips. It's nice to see a character who looks like a real dude.

oh and if you are planning to digitally enhance/colorize something like that, stay away from those shading lines lik in the chin. It dont look good on clean finished jobs like this one. hope it helps.

man Im glad you like it..cos that is exactly what Ive had in mind..its good to see feedbacks like these.
and no I think Im done with this one...its finished, cos I dont like it to retouch on finished works.. it ok that way. the better one the next one:)
