well, here is a portrait i did of the most beautiful girl ever, Kristen Kreuk. thought it would be good practice for my meager painting skills. and you know what, it was please please critique!

Yeah I agree ay, she's one of the best lookers, along with kate bosworth

I think the highlights on the hair needs some work, though zhuzhu should comment in this thread - put your skillz to work zhuzhu!! go for it!

the proportions and composition work out pretty nicely. I think the key thing you need to work out is color variation. Skin has a lot of different hues in it through out the face especially.

alright, thanks for the crits guys. As per Gygaxis' recomendation i tried to add some different hues, and i tweaked the contrast a little bit. its not much but i think it looks a lot better now. anything else????

This is really great, I think she coul use some shadows in her eyes. The tones used are very pleasant.

i think the ear could use some work, it looks plain compared to the rest of the face-the inside is a bit more complicated than what you have
