Ok, this was in response to how does this color theory stuff apply to me. Here are plenty of examples on how it works with any random image of any kind. The art is not finished, it doesnt need to be when we are talking about the layout of the image. Just the relationships of color is the pressing issue here.
ANy questions about this, post em here and I will try and answer them as they come in.

Thanks for the example Ron. I've really found your info useful and I've gathered a nice little collection of your tutorials. Thanks for sharing and please keep them coming.
Here is the first image above a little smaller. It's not as crisp but there is no scrolling.

See...see what I men...? heh...I am glad you got it, or starting too...I wil do some more of these to get you more examples of this thought process. Look out in the world around you every day...You will see that you can recognzie everything for its silhouette. Its shape. You can see its color...and it has intensity due to the light source bouncing off of it. Those are the threeprinciples of drawing, shape value and color. Color has 3 principals...hue value and intensity...master this concept, understand this concept and I know you will be able to do any picture with correct procedure and ideal control...in a perfect world...study this, and make it your art mantra, before everything else you study, make sure you include composition and composition and color...
Get some more stuff up for ya soon.

wah thx ron, thats more than i ever expected.
I have a lot of ideas in mind but cannot really bring them on paper. I didnt get the "right" colors. Or shapes ...
Its really nice that artists like you have some time left to share knowledge.
Mullins once posted something like a step by step. I didnt get the idea why he colored the heli in brown-red nd even the smoke behind. But now i think because the heli was fireing which causes a yellow red.
Just have to learn more about colors to use them
yours
