Flush, the first Joker is great!!

Ok, its time for some Clown-Characters:

(not the best yet, but oh well, good enough to motivate some others to paint clowns or jokers as well Wink)

Wassup, i really like your Pirate-Rugby-Picture!
Spooge, the Maid of Mars is fantastic ...

Here's a couple of others I finished recently.

They both came in at under 2 hours. No ref used btw, for these two, or any of my previous posts. When I try to incorporate ref into my work, it looks like blatant appropriation. I was talking to TheBrave (a work colleage) about this, and he suggested using a camera. How do you guys use ref to your best advantage?

Thanks for the compliments guys. I was dreading a wall of ambivelent silence. Top marks to Flushie for kicking the thread off in style.

Here's Joe Pesci getting into character for Goodfellas

'But, I'm funny how? Funny like a clown? I amuse you? I make you laugh?'

Cool clowns.
Summer Pudding - I like that werewolf realisation. Looks like he's been busy.

This guy doesn't like painted faces.

Max, any chance you could pass on gas mask girl's MSN? She's a honey. 'Yeah baby, treat me rough!'

<cough>

I guess I'm making up for lost time. Better late than never, here are some future cars. Old thread, I know, but I've only just got the InterWeb site up and running.

Hey M.C. Barrett how on earth do you get your reflections and highlights so madeningly perfect? Mine appear to be influenced by about a hundred different light sources.

Photoshop onto pencil drawings.

Color Study. Not really a speed painting, but not finished enough to put in the gallery. Anyone know where I can get a reference with shoulders at such an angle?

Yo Pringle!

Summer.jpg is mesmerising. Perfectly balanced. You should make a travel guide for your imagination. How much are the flights?

Just finished this guy. He might be hard as hell, but he's still riding a LadyShave.

Nighty night my lovlies.

Max, thanks again. Smile

Seems like most artists like distorted perspectives, hmm I must experiment more with it.

see you
