Is the standard water colour brush from Painter Classic still to be found in Painter 8 and if yes, where is it? _________________ Yeah man but it's a dry heat... |

Hi,
There's no "standard Water Color brush" in any Painter or Painter Classic version. Instead, there's a Water Color brush category containing several brush variants.
With Painter 7, the Water Color technology changed drastically.
If you have Painter Classic 1, it's based on Painter 5 and uses the old Water Color technology.
If you have Painter Classic 2, it's based on Painter 7 and uses the new Water Color technology.
In Painter 8, we have both the Water Color brush category using the new technology and a new brush category called Digital Water Color that comes close to doing what the old Water Color brushes did.
