Hamst3r - Crazed.mp3
Most of the Drum and Bass I've heard out there has been pretty empty. I mean...Drums, Bass, Lead, Voice sample with the occasional weird noise...but nothing that filled my headphones with.... *waves around in the air* STUFF.
So, I attempted making a lil chunky beat.
If you know of any DnB artists that do cinematic/epic/busy DnB, let me know - I wanna hear some. :D |

Hey giant.
I have been following your threads here everytime you post and your stuff is getting better and better all the time, really nice sound you have retrieved in this song and very different from all those d&b sounds too. Really amazing what can be achieved with this buzz since I cant understand a single thing in that software.
I am trying to stay out of the random section cause everytime I put my foot in here the flaming starts, ehe, felt I had to give you a comment now though.
Have you played around anything with those commodore 64 sounds? I gave a link earlier to Max above here in a pm with a swedish band called Machinea Supremacy and maybe you have heard em before. Anyway, they are doing this game hardrock music and sometimes they use this mods with commodore sounds I believe it is, it sounds very cool and could be something you might wanna check out, the sound is used in the "bouff" song in their download section and even in some of those other songs too. Heres the link:

keep up the good music Giant and have a nice day

Matthew: Hahah, hey. :D Yeah, My mp3 list is filled with Machine Supremacy.
As for c64 sounds, they're used quite frequently in my songs.
Infact, on this track here, there's samples from my Yamaha VSS-30. Old toy keyboard from the 80's came around when the Casio SK-1 was popular.
places in this track with VSS-30: 00:45, 01:45 and 2:00.
