Do pilots count?
Did this a few years ago. Used something called 'paint'.

Ummm...what's so strange?
This is from way back in the spring. ELLioT posted a sketch of a Spit and came shootin' at him with a 109. I can't speak for ELLioT but it was probably one of those 'you had to be there' things.
Just a joke everybody...let's keep it moving shall we.... |

Hello. everyone. I'm new here and I agree this is a very cool thread. I've always loved aircraft of any kind. I just recently got a wacom and painter-so now I feel like my head is going to explode(in a good way)trying new stuff. This is an old painting that I never finished completed and fixed up in PS. Tell me what you think.
Ive got more aircraft stuff if any one's interested....

Ahhh, the propeller thread is ALIVE again. Must've been hibernating.
Red Dog, second one's a Swordfish, yes?
Barunndi, i like the technique on that.
Hey, Spunkmeyer, that Mosquito pilot definitely's got the right stuff as I don't think that version had any guns. Cool rendering. Was it oil or acrylics in pre-computer?
Nice light UnAlternate.
Speaking of nice light that chopper's sweet, Cap. BTW, over here a 'Propeeeeeller' would be a stripper! |

Capt.- Thanks! I had a little problem there. I'll put some more stuff up pretty soon. Very cool copter, love the lighting.
Mark- You may be right about the Mosquito-I'm going to research the different models a little more. It started out acrylic-old fashioned brushes and semi old fashioned airbrush. |

red dog, barundi, these are some awesome drawings!
spunkmeyer, the material has a good look&feel...
excuse this "never-been-to-an-artschool-question":
barundi, please tell me, how did you educate yourself to get these drawings skills? looks like you ve got a lot of lifedrawing-experience, but i'm not sure, cause i don't know to many (academical) approaches to gain such beautiful drawing skills. but this somewhat-loose, un-artifical style looks like you didn't have just an anatomy-book laying next to you(,right? ...) _________________ known as "ChrisNix" elsewhere. |

More Propellers! It's really fun looking at the stuff in this thread.(and the rest of the forum)
The Tilt-rotor needs something-any suggestions?
The copter probably should have an air scoop for the jets, but it looked sexier this way.
