No idea what he is meaning by that. I personally like this one. The stained glass feel is pretty fun. I'm not so sure about the flat grey-brown border running around the whole thing. It feels kind of distracting.

probably another uppity one about doing photomanips, silly man, particularly since i doubt this was even done in that manner. This is kinda cool, i've just been trying to figure out what the strange oval shapes on the people surrounding jesus are supposed to be, maybe they're supposed to be breasts, maybe it doesn't matter.

As for the meaning of this, jesus is clear enough, and there seems to be women hanging off him, two of which seem to be possibly lesbians. Everyone loves lesbians, but i suspect i could try to draw connections that may or may not be true relating it to some current times, simply because this is a style that begs for interpretation. Perhaps a statement about the bible still offering love to both women and to individuals even if they are couples of the same sex, despite modern manipulations of scripture. But i could be wrong, and likely am, i'm not even christian much less a biblical scholar, i'm just curious what meaning this was meant to convey.

Simoom... Nice interpretation and it does seem to work in some ways. However, my intent was much simpler and a bit odd. -- A picture about caring, love and the beginnings of Christianity.

The odd shapes are a repeating anatomical form in my artwork which probably come from my love of artists like Bacon, Bosch, Bruegel, Nolde and a bunch of others.

ah, i'm just curious then why you opted for either all women or androgenous, not that there's any reason you can't do it that way.

Thanks... It's taken awhile, but I believe I understand this picture better myself now. I've always known what it was about, but the literal meaning was struggling to get to the surface. A good deal of the inspiration for it came from reading a book several months ago - "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown. The strength and maternity of women in early Christianity. If you haven't read it, I strongly recommend doing so. An exciting read and an extraordinary novel.

Having looked back at your posts from the past and seen your work, I'd suggest you take up tracing. At least then maybe your "art" will start to develop beyond the appearance of monkey vomit.
