thanks Pringle & ax--hv:) nice pics too, both of you.
tried to play with the wet brushes (inspired by zhuzhu there, great work),
but my poor old machine proved to be waaay too slow and I had to revert to the basic brushes:(

I believe that this is my first contribution to the thread. though this is not my regular style. I think I had some success with it.
edit: haha add the picture dummy

Idiran, thanks- The same goes for that girl.
JR, thats a nice style you got going.
I tried to focus on the colours without reference in this pic.
I believe it was a partial succes (I don't really dig the sky and mountain colours).
Is there anything that strikes you as odd or out of place regarding the colours? If there is please let me know!

Pringle, i see a little dissonance in composition between sides of the picture. But colours are great.
Zhuzhu, your last one looks a little bit not enought organic to me. (organic look was exactly that i liked in your previous works)
My friend says about the style "If you draw a girl, you mean sex, if you draw a car - you mean technic" I`m not sure if my translation is correct, but i hope you understand what i mean :o) |

Matthew the one painted with ref looks very good, I'm no anatomy pro, but I can't se any "tabbar" BUT when you Don't use ref, you can instantly se that it's not working. the cowboy dude, looks very matthew-ish in the colors and form of the face, but i like the pose, looks like he's leaning towards a camera about to say something or pull a gun on ya!
Keep it real yo |
