You have a real knack for the oil medium. Appearantly being forced to spend lots of time on an image at a drawn out pace and with clean brushes agrees with your artistic sensibility. Not only are you handling the paint well in terms of color, values and rendering, but your compositions are really quite nice. I'd say you are ready to start tackling subject matter! Way to go.
