hey, I photo-referenced the cover of one of my mom's magazines. im not a fan of it, but i can't deny a badass picture when i see one, and i thought it would be good for some MUCH needed practice for my painting skills. Please, critique away, i really need it

| Wow that's so badass. I don't know how you made the metallic look, but the contrast is excellent. The face could use a bit more tone (I couldn't tell the line of separation between the metal and the face for a while, 'had thought it was a WIP). Anyway, excellent! Someday, just someday, I'll be some where as good as that, well, some where close, just someday. |

Very good. But I think the edges shouldn't be that soft in the face/shoulder area.
Kinda makes it unpleasant to look at. I too thought for a moment that it might be WIP.

Great start! You should take a closer look at her ear, though. It should start at the end of her jaw-line... right now it looks a bit mis-shapen and it is kind of "floating" around. Grab some photo reference if the ear doesn't appear in the original photo. This pic is well on its way to being pretty spectacular. Keep at it!
