It's like a mix of Dr. Seuss and the Jim Hensen movies (Labrynth and Dark Crystal specifically). Maybe a wee touch of Alan Lee for mood.

Sort of sick and twisted, yet oddly lovable look. Great stuff.

I just wanted to experiment with the automotive design clay p-40. I didn't finish. Its a whole other way of working than with DeVinci soft (softest oil based clay).

"MacJ" ...youre a man of great potential! Perhaps this is the start to create a fantasy world of your own. The characters
are so ful of substance that they stay in ones mind after closing the thread. Figures that tell the experience of a mature
person but still drawn and coloured in a way that booth children and grewn up people will love to look at again and again.
I am also sure that you with that imagination should try to write a story and make the fairytale of this century. I will sure
be the first one on the list to buy it!! Smile

This are great, but I particularly like the first one. There's some kind of personality there that really grabs me. Also, I think maybe the definition of form and the shadow is a little stronger there than the rest? Either way, cool stuff, really bizarre and yet somehow likeable.

Actually its been about 10 years since I've browsed the work of doctor Suess, and I'm not familiar with the work of diterlizzi, gonna look that one up. Brian Froud is one of my favorites of all time though.

In case you can't tell, popeye and I are brothers from different mothers. I think its an absolute neccessity that we collaborate on a book or project of some sort. We gotta get started on that shit as soon as possible.
