I'm almost ashamed to post this after seeing everyone elses work! But here it is (I always thought a MegaMan movie would be interesting), so here's a fake advertisement. I'm sorta displeased by the African features and flamoyant lips.. I think this is final but if there are any suggestions I'd be happy to hear, thanks.

Hi and welcome aboard:) I think you will find this place very helpful and inspiring. First of all if people will offer you advice, please dont take it personal in any way. They are just offered to help you:)

It's hard to try to imagine Megaman in real world. Who knows..Maybe he will be CG if the movie ever would be made?

Now these are my thoughts:
My opinion is that exageration would suit the picture. After all he is very cartoony in the game. Maybe it even is suppose to be a little boy.

Maybe if you would keep more of the original colors and look of the suit people would easier see it's him. i have to be honest and say that it did'nt strike me that it was suppose to be Megaman in your pic. It looks more like a kind of TRON character. There are also anatomical issues and proportion problems on the character. Even if he is a robot, the anatomy would work best if it looks more human. I dont quite know what is going on with the shadow either.

Try to study anatomy more and how light and shadows
looks on the shapes and be aware of smooth and sharp egdes. Using the airbrush too much results in too smooth shading especially when not masking enough.Think of where the lightsource comes from too and i think you are on to a better start.

Hope this input can be of any help:)

-Mikael

Yes, I agree as well, TRON! Thanks for the advice, its exactly what I was hoping for. I'm quite new at creating pictures with photoshop and my school doesn't offer much, so all of the advice is heavily valued... thanks again! Very Happy

19 yrs old and I'm already feeling signs of tendonitis so this sort of reflects myself. I'm thinking that an investment towards a tablet would be a good idea instead of this darn mouse!

Whoah, that movie looks really low budget, lol! But who knows, maybe its good. Seems like a lot of video games are being turned into movies, so where's Zelda? hmm, maybe that would be too close to LOTR though. =)
