Here is an image I am working on this is just one character from a bigger scene. I want to add some more detail to the hair and dress. Any suggestions on the hands or anything else would be great.
C&C this one for me.

Actually just did a paint-over but I can post right now (don't know why). I only did a few quick things. scaled down the head and the hands and made the dress a little longer. It helped.

Her legs and arms are too short. Fingertips should end at between the groin and the knee. The elbow should be at the waist, and the wrist right at the groin. Legs should be at least the same length as the torso(shoulder to groin), or else the person will look squat and short.

Good points.
And the perspective isn't correct.
It seems to be a front view of the whole figure.
That means it looks as if she is very far in the distance.
But only the perspective suggests that. I guess that's not what you wanted to go for.

Where is the horizon?
It seems as if it is where the feet are.
Then the head would be viewed from below a little.

If you want it to look as if we look at the face then the dress ...
don't know how to say that ... just look at the image please. Thanks Smile
I guess it's a bit too extreme in my image.

I'd have to know the literal big picture ... but I don't know if you want to make big changes like that!?

[edit]
And I wouldn't add more details ....
I'd take away details in some areas to make the ones you keep stand out more.
[/edit]
