Havn't draw like that in a while.

I love that first pic!
Did you use blue pencils? I think so.
I have been searching for those pencils for months, can't find 'em. Rare stuff here in Austria!!

Second pic is quite nice too but the the "First Child" pic just has alot of emotion - unique.

Max>> My fav artist is here! "MAX" Happy New Year! Miss seeing your stuff.
Love that latest cityscape you did. Yeah, I have a stock pile of 'Blue' and 'Tuscan' pencils. Love them because they are waxy and smooth. I used to be a 2D animator so I used them all the time. Havn't been drawing much lately 'cuz I am learning how to paint. Too much to learn and try to catch up with things.

Go online and find some art suppply store, I am sure they have it. YOU will love it.
Thanks for the comment buddy!

Matthew>> I will try to finish her as good as I can. It's difficult to make finished painting for me, it seems slow and I usually got bored before it's done. You too keep up the good work. You work ethic and persistance is unbeatable.

Max Kulich>> Yes, dear. You are one of my most fav artists here! Thanks, Now you are stretchin it about me. Why is the most talented ones also the most humble ones? The stuff you came up with are pretty Unique and filled with imagination/ great execution. Stuff that me myself would never be able to come up with. You and people around SpeedPainting thread has inspire me and make me a better artist than I was. Keep up the great work! I will be waiting.
I was an animator for small game company in Seattle, we work for Disney Interactive in BC. That my first art job ever for almost two year, it was fun...just draw and draw from key frames to in between all day. Then other people will clean them up and color them. But now I am a 3D modeller/texture artist for different company. Someday, I would love to just paint all day long...as of now I am still learning how from you guys and great artists around me.
And your mountain? Show me, I wanna see!!! or at least send me the link.

And here is the project I am currently working on

btw XIA, you said something about the computer re-booting in the speedy earlier, I am having the same problem and for me the harddrive seems to be broken, perhaps there are more faults in my computer. Anyway, this seems to be a common fault in the computers nowadays so I am curious if you managed to fix the problem and what you did to fix it?
I guess I need a new harddrive though, have to start saving money now I guess before the computer totally cracks down.

very cool to hear about your career there, that animating feeling can really be seen in the dynamic in your characters, also the poses has a lof of rhytm in them, thats what I really like in the characters you are doing. Smile
I also wanna paint all day and I hope I can make a living out of it sometime in the future when I have been finished with me studies.

oh yea post more of those anime characters if you are doing anymore new ones.
Keep up the good work XIA-dude and I see you in the speedy. Smile

XIA: check your PMs Very Happy

Matthew: Try different formations. Fat32 or NTFS. I had Fat32 and alot of errors, then I changed it to NTFS the problem was fixed....otherwise buy a cheap 80GB or 120GB drive. More than enought for photoshop and some games. Good luck

Matth + Max>> Sorry guys, I forgot that I post something in this forum.

Matthew>> Thanks for the comment there. Well, I am not a really good animator to be honest, not enough passion (Really important element in this field). I used to want to be comic book artists really bad, but it just ends up that way. Wink About my computer, it's a fan problem, the IBM guy suppose to come fix it sometime soon.

Max>>Thanks buddy, I will check it now.
Very Happy

Hey guys!!!!! Sorry for the late reply. I've been busy getting drunk and get beat up by a bunch of young hot female. Young hot females these days are so angry for some reason. Should I blame it on TV or Hollywood? Maybe VideoGames?

Matthew>>Thanks buddy! Me? Tell me about it! I am there all the time. pretty used to it. Me love getting dumb and rejection! It awesome! Just be as honest and as sincere as you can...I am sure they will like U. Be confident, don't ever put yourself down! We artists are way cooler than RockStars...we can only gets better, but they don't usually do. U wll be awesome artist someday and then they will have to beg for it. Woot Woot! Sorry I've been slacking...havn't stop by in Speedy in a while.

Neff>> Yes, even the hottest thing in the world will get turn down. Ha ha ha

Max Kul>> Thanks, my advice...it kinda bad. Don't get a girlfriend...they will consume your time like crezy. She will always wanna hang and do stuff...not cool. I would say get a hot friend with benefit, is way better. (I am just kidding! Girlfriend are not bad, but they are time consuming and they are just so angry all the time.) I got those pics u send, Pretty damn awesome, great job!!! Thanks a lot. Keep Up the great work! Been busy sorry...I will reply soon.

Thanks. but now you are overdoing it Very Happy Just take your time XIA!!

Nice one!

But be careful with the shading. It looks abit,..let me say "confusing"
Try to shade WITH and not against the form and keep clear strokes.

I ain't better thought, I just talk about theory all the time...hehe
Keep up the good work XIA
