first post here, besides comments. ive been playing with coloring, and this is the first one ive actually had the guts to post. this is hawkpreys drawing, my color. all done in photoshop. the biggest problem, (or is it?) is that i depend on the artists details in the drawing, im not really at the skill level to do my own. the color is done in mostly brushes, with a light and a dark color for each section, with dodge and burn to adjust colors fades. i would really like suggestions on the process, and how i can improve. as you can see from the feet, and hand on the right, i have trouble with where the art begins to lose detial.
Original (www.hawkprey.com - thanks hawkprey!)
Color
comments and suggestions please. thanks guys. _________________ illOgic |

Id add just some more tones to the colors. Very nice picture. The guy looks quite nasty little chap. |

I like it alot. The only thing that I would work on is the colors in his skin. Maybe some brown stains, and some of the other natural colors that happen in skin..... _________________ Her eyes were cold and harsh....which made them hard to chew. |
