I know i have been not around too much lately, due the huge amount of
home work that i had to do on my university still i had time to squish this pic
in the middle all of all the things, this is my 3 beast, you might not
remeber but i made a Grotto Beast and a Canyon Beast some time ago.
This is the ocean beast; still to go the air beast, hopefully i will have done
the last one of the elemtal ones by the end of this month so stay tuned Very Happy
in case you might wonder this are the other beasts:

Aside of that, i am including on this post my beast of life and dead
"Ometeotl", the god of duality of the ancient nauatls, since i am crafiting a
beastiarum for my self; this beast will be the cover of the book i will make,
so there will be more than just four beasts, this are just the elemental based
ones i am going to make a lot more , once the school is finished, =)
so that is all i hope you all enjoy my hard work,
god knows i enjoyed my self while i
was painting them =)

bw thanks for reading and seeing all this non-sence ramblign Very Happy see ya Very Happy

The 3erd elemental beast:

This one measures 40cm by 60cm , it is an engraving on acrillicy sorry for
the low quality, i know the photo and the scaning is not very good. Very Happy but
still i wanted to share it =)

beast of the dead and life Ometeotl

Hi
I really like the last one, The colours are good and the image has a nice atmosphere to it. Kind of an out of this world mood.

Don't know if your looking for critique, but I would suggest adding some reflections / shiny highlights on the beast in the first image to get that water look just right.

Good work.

Yeah, max! I wasn't paying attention and just clicked on this thread and scrolled to the first image and my first thought was "Damn, this looks like something maxetormer would do." Scrolled back up and what do ya know!

Nice to see you're still plugging away at it and keeping your style.

I love the colors on the sea monster, but I think the water looks too solid/opaque. It doesn't have the translucent/see through quality that water would have. I think a lot of that is the way it reflects and holds light. You have it lighted like it was a giant plastic piece. Definately an area to work on in future pieces.

Pringle: thanks for the sugesttions and thanks for showing supoort and
likeing the images, ill make some changes on the water to improve it,
using the sugesstions you gave. ill try to make it more, mmm translucent
and fluid, thanks for the heads up =)

Soak: roger on the water thing Very Happy
bw i had a lot fo fun on the coluds so thanks for likeing them =)

fukifino: thanks man it means a lot that you kinda think that i have a
distinctive style becase i am always trying to be as original as i can, (tho
originality does not exists really) so you saying the i have a recoginzable
style makes me feel that i am on the right track =)
ill check the water with some photo refs bw, so that i can improve the
translucent quality of it =) thanks for the costructive critic man =)

Matthew: hi o veteran on the sijun forums, Very Happy thanks so much for the nice
words of ecouragment and for takeing the time to
post and see my work. =)
