cool thats perfect attitute i like it.

RULE ONE of water color discussion!

Never talk about watercolors again!

um, if it says water colors on the box you're buying, i think it's water colors. if not, then hell, i could be anything. even gas.

I'm sorry, but I don't like when art is not defined individualistically. Art resides in the individual, not in the paint itself. If you would like to call someone like Sargent a water colorist, why must I agree with this definition constructed by "educated" academics? Do I not know art as well as the other person because I refuse to think of it as accurate? Is correctness a democratic decision, where the majority of my fellow painters will tell me what is right and what is wrong? Why must some call me ignorant when I think of an "expressionist acrylic painter" as someone who wanted to share his pure ideas with others?

Don't use white in watercolor paintings, or midget santas from hell equipped with axes will spawn in your closet and chop you to death while proclaiming it was all an "axe-ident".

(Note: Some are probably going to come after me and murder me in my sleep if they really believe I still think of Sargent as a water colorist. But if you were thinking "oh, that guy is just so WRONG that he is not entitled to an opinion; moving ooon" in the first place, then I'm afraid you missed my point).

i wish to c more work from different people so we can continue discussion. and come up with varied ideas and thougths with will definitely helpfull to add in everybody's progress and thinking process.....
