at last, i can show some of the BD i'm working on and that i've almost finished : MEKA. (scenarist : jean-david morvan, pencils and colors : me)
here are pages 4 and 12, without the dialogs, because i just wanted to keep some parts secret and let you see the whole art.
of course, comments, critics and motivation are most welcome!! :)
release alas still only scheduled for may, i can not do anything about that... _________________ l'angle b |

Mmmm...that's gorgeous. This is the kind of comic coloring that I really enjoy these days. It's very "rich." I hope it translates well to print.
Is this going to be released in America too? |

all>> thank you very much for the replies!! :D
release date is may 2004, alas, the publisher decided, even if the whole book will be finished by january... i'm sad!! :/
it will be released only in french first, but if it hits success, it will be translated into italian, german and spanish most likely. english is super rare, only for super good BDs. so... i cannot tell you if this one will be good enough, it is far from sure right now!!! :)
this is only pencils with digital colors.
thx!!! _________________ l'angle b |

Looks really good as far as the art goes, but I really can't get a story out of it. Can't tell what most of the panels are supposed to be... |
