This is a picture I'm coloring for a contest at the Megatokyo.com drawing/art boards. The lineart was done by Ron Chiu, my webcomic partner. I just started doing it today, and not that much has been done on it yet.

I worked on the girl a bit more, now all I need is the hair, eyes and skin (though the hair is gonna kill me, garrr)... also need to fix a few shadows, but nothing big. Anyway, here is the progress:

Garrr, I couldn't stand the girl half finished...
The highlights from the light from the background came out crap, but I got tired of redoing them, and felt I just had to move on after third try...
Oh and I know this aint exactly the best picture ever, and that a lot of people frown on anime, but its for a contest so just a little help would be appreciated tons!

Hiya! The last pic looks fine. I like the highlight colour alot. One thing that i would do diifferently is to drop of the black color of shadows. I do the same thing my self really often and I allways get to hear about avoidin it. I don�t know if that is even a any kind of a broplem in your pic. Maybe I�m just bitter and dying to say this to some one else. 
Oh, is those PS7 default brushes in the ground? And the snow flakes too?
You got a fantastic start there. Just finish the pic qiockly before x-mas cos after it�s in the past again, no one doesn�t want�s to see anymore red hat anywhere.

Well, the contest deadline aint before the 30th thank god...
Oh, and yeah I know about the black thing... I do it all the time, because I dont feel that I get enough contrast otherwise, grr. Though I think I can get away with it here, because its kinda night and all, so its really dark 
And yeah, there are tons of ps7 brushes in the background, it was just something I did very quickly to have a feel about the background, and not just white. Though the rest is actually made in ps6 which i like much more, heh.
