hey, this is an illustration i did for the website Bandamp.com. the guy i did this for wants a whole band for the mascots, and this is the singer. some of you might have seen the robot guitarist with an amp for his head a while ago. and yes, he is secreting mud out of his tentacles...the guy has a thing about mud. Confused dont ask
but n-e-way, comments, critiques, etc.

I really like the work but I think erspective seems a little ankward. Also some more shading in the monster sides could be cool.

Linework is pretty good, textures are pretty good, but the shading makes it very uncomfortable to look at. Too many areas competing for attention = headache. Not sure where the light is coming from, but areas that I would expect to be in shadow are just as bright as those that appear to be lit.

allright, thanks for the crits. i guess i never really had a clear idea of where i wanted the light to be coming from, so that might be part of the problem. but i think i have an idea how to fix it...
