Hi there,
This is the concept of a star fighter for a game i'm working on with some friends..
The game is a space sim, kinda like "wing commander" or "x-wing".
so, tell me what you think about it. |

nice work mate. i feel its a little bit simple though.
It would be good to see it in an environment from a different perspective. _________________ Design portfolio |

I wouldn't call it simple, but that's just me. I've seen simaler designs before, but that one is a little different some how. Anyways, it looks good. And good luck with the game development process. |

Thanks for the comments
The design is a little simple, lots of people are saying that.
one person said the ship was fugly , that wasn't good
I'll try some different stuff on the next ships |

Very nice, basic simple functional design for air/space kinda craft, what i dont see is how it manages to fly without propulsion though ... Personally i'd add dual 'rocket' thingies close/attached to the center thingy on the back (sorta like on a tomcat) and maybe another 2 small thingies on the tips of the wings for spin etc, how you do them would depend on the way you want the craft to be able to move... Basicly what i'm saying is give it some thought as to what it's abilities and functionality should be and add engines that would sorta work with the idea...
Looking real good tho keep it up! _________________ NiM

It has propulsion, iit's behind the ship
you can't see it in the rendering, but there are some screenshots over here, that it can be seen.
the ship isn't atmospheric, so theres no air income
And there are rocket thingies take a look at the screenshot
there are more screen shots at the site
thanks |

um, it looks good.. simple but effective. only thing i would fix is your perspective... (this is 2d right? heh).. the left symbol's position and the panel cut underneath it are in funny positions compared to the right wing.
just a thought?

Yes it's a 2d drawing, and i'm going to be true wih you, i knew about the symbol, the perpective is quite wrong, but i was too lazy to fix it
I had to finish it quickily so it could be modeled in 3d, so i left it that way
thanks for the thought
the "heh" character is quite famous, i can't belive you don't know him _________________ Somnium Studio |
