There is a guy in my class who is quite an extraordinary guy. We have painted together 2 times and when he paints he keeps changing his paintings and finds new motives in the paintings all the time.
I have tried to copy his style and today I made an oil-painting which started out with a Reaper as a motive and was finished as a Train-station picture, pretty neat actually and that guy really liked the painting too, and he saw the first motive and how it in the end changed to a train-station picture. :)

Tomasis, thank you for the king words, dont think I ever will feel how it is to be important though.

sorry if I missed on some of you guys, thank you all if you commented on me and I missed it. :)

Have fixed the computer now, still some trouble with one of the partitions, does anyone know if there are any good free partition softwares?

This ones for you tomasis

hmm, my dear brushes is gone, still I used one of those default ones in the one above.
later
Matthew

Much love to all here as always.

Just a head, with no emotion... I need to do more environments, but just drawing faces is a bad habit for me. I guess its one of those symptoms of drawing without thinking enough.

Daniel in Wonderland > I love that image, I really do.

I also love PS. However, I hate painter. How do you change layer size in painter? Is it even possible?
I'm not going to touch painter again until I know..

(..until then I'll stick to PS and drawing on old newspapers)

Janne, nice one.

HPX, great as usual.

Mullins! When might we get a look at the matrix mattes? I mean besides in the movie.

These are a little boring. But were fun to do.

muse>> nice!
hardcore>> raw aesthetic quality
janne>> i love the rhythm in the last one
flush>> the girl is sweeeeeeet

spooge, didnt mention vfx/designs in the movie, not at all. actually they were really cool, probably the coolests ive ever seen in a movie. but the most attractive "matrix philosophy" was gone. after i have seen Reloaded i gave all hopes to the last episode, but obviously the brothers were not about to solve those unintelligible knots...please,a DragonBall fight as an end?!
say, we are all looking forward to your matrix stuff, when are they gonna let you show them, damn, its a crime...

after sparth and spooges voodoo soldiers, eh in a cheesy way

Bengal >> Heh, that guy looks a little suffering, I like the shading in her face, all that multicolour action going on. Your style (for this image atleast) got me thinking in the lines of if someone would ask Shirow to draw Furikuri (FLCL). Most likely because it's 5am and I have no idea what I'm writing.

Wasssup >> You too, very nice. I like the dreamscene illuminated-scene thing a lot. The matrix-one, even though less attractive motive, was also very very nice.

Flush >> I missed your post, totally. Cute chic, giving the realism a rest? I'll install trillian or something soon so I can bother you all day about tips & tricks to painting environments. ;P

And now; junk I made only to post.

Janne>> That is really really nice! Really damn nice!

Drunken Muse>> You know, I have the same problem with Painter. Can't figure out those layers. The one I made is done in on the canvas. I gave up trying to make new layers. So it's kinda like the real thing. Paint, paint over and paint again...

I have a terrible time designing cityscapes. Is it really just a matter of working out perspective and design thoroughly? I feel like I understand light and color fairly well, but I always fall down w hen it comes to backgrounds that are filled with architecture. Bah, anyway...here's my speed paint for prace, about 30mins. Anyone have any help?
